Why this example is worth doing

Two rows, and the page uses the space to deal with notation instead. The same operation is written Ā, A′, ¬A, !A, ~A and NOT A depending on the textbook, the language and the century, and the parser accepts every one of them. Declaring that up front removes the most common reason a student's pasted expression fails to parse, and the overline is rendered as styled markup rather than a combining character because combining overlines break across browsers.
